"Kites" was by Simon Dupree and the Big Sound and was a U.K. top ten
hit in November 1967. It was on the Parlophone label.

Simon Dupree later materialised into Gentle Giant. If you haven't
heard them, consider yourself lucky. Swotty boys at school played
their L.P.'s in the common room while we fought to get Mott the Hoople
on the Deck.

I reckon I've got "Kites" stuck away in the attic somewhere. If I can
find it I will post it on.
