Johnny PayCheck Has Lung Infection

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Country music singer Johnny PayCheck was in
critical condition Friday at a Georgia hospital, suffering from a lung
infection, his manager said.
========================================================================
High on the list of country/western singers we can't stand is Johnny
PayCheck.

News of his impending demise is the best Christmas gift possible.

PayCheck is most famous for his ode to Communism called "Take This Job
and Shove It" in the 70s. The horrid lyrics of this dark song put
laziness and sloth up on a pedestal.

"Take This Job & Shove It" is nothing more than a tuneless ditty rose to
number one and could be called a major causal factor in the decline of
American work ethics and product quality
worldwide.

PayCheck's Stalin-like message at the time seemed to be, "Sit on your
fat blue collar ass while the Ruskies and yellow man make better
products to sell to your alcoholic grandma."

Johnny PayCheck should be buried in Red Square, not in Anytown, USA.

All music--whether it be country or legitimate--has been harmed by the
drivel that PayCheck has committed to LP, CD and tape.

Even the revolting Marilyn Manson--a talentless homosexual hack who has
shamelessly stolen different parts of his perverted personna from
others--could find nothing to "lift" from the emptiness of PayCheck's
act.

His drug-abusing friend, Willie Nelson is really no better. We'll all
be better off when that tax-dodging, farmer-loving bastard dies as well.

Neither PayCheck or Nelson are true singers in the real spirit of
country western music.

Instead they are nothing more than Hicks from the Sticks who appeal to
Southern rubes with no culture and no high school diploma. I guess the
blue collar underclass deserves their tunes, but let's not fool
ourselves by calling it "real" music.

Rot in hell, Johnny PayCheck.

You can no longer damage the American way of life with your Bolshevik
music.

Sorry.. I normally do not contribute to off-topic blathering.. but
this has to be the most pathetic mean-spirited thing I have ever
read..
So.. you don't like him.. guess what? Neither do I.. but I'm not
wishing him or anyone a painful, humiliating, long death. That's just
inhuman.. and your nick claims to love something? I find that
exceptionally unlikely with such a spirit as you show here.
You lack of sensitivity and obvious lack of intellect <as is shown to
be the case in most bigots: ie: addressing your derogatory comments
about southerners and those who work for a living with their hands>
nearly guarantee an inability to love anything beyond yourself and
your over-developed sense of self-worth.

Just my opinion.. and you all know my opinion on opinions...;)

I've never heard of the person you're all talking about but I just wanted to
say that I agree with everyone else who's posted a response to your mail.

Why speak when you've nothing productive to say

This is just another example of someone reading too much in to a song
that was written for amusement. I rank you with Charles Manson (whom
tought helter skelter was written about murder). I find your
observations offensive and repulsive. Johnny was a fine artist and had
many other serious hits other than Take this job and shove it(which was
written in pure jest).
Just listen to the music pal, don't try to interpret it!!!!!!!!!

Curiosty killed the cat, but I was a prime suspect.

What the hell is your problem? If you don't like a singer, don't listen.
Were you a product of the McCarthy era?
You sound like you used to write for Pravda.

And I suppose "Don't Take Her, She's All I Got" caused all Americans to
run off with the girl next door?

You comments about Willie Nelson are so ludicrous they desrve no reply.

As a matter of fact, your moniker, "cattlovr," explains alot!!

Can I jump into the conversation, uninvited? Either way ... I will.

I don't know who said what to whom ... but what does (I presume) negative
comments about two country western singers have to do with the fact that one
loves cats?

I've seen you many times in rec.pet.cats trying to stir up anger.

I never would have dreamed I was communistic because I have quit a job.

Plus, even hicks like me can have favorite artists such as Willie Nelson.

Oh darn, I guess I can't like Willie openly, I do have a high school
diploma.

Well never mind. I apologize to the news group for even responding.
