Subject: REQ: Song title and artist

Hey guys and gals,

I've been looking for the title and artist of this song for a while, and noone
I've asked seems to remember it, or can't remember the title.

The song starts something like:

"A little ditty about Jack and Dianne
Two American kids living in the heartland"

And the chorus starts:

"Oh yeah life goes on
Long after the thrill of living is gone"

Or something like that anyway...

Can anyone offer solutions?

Please either mail or cc answers the tj...@aber.ac.uk if possible.

Thanks,

Tim.

The song to which you are referring is "Jack And Diane" by John Cougar. He did
not use his real last name, Mellencamp, at this time.
