Got kinda tired of packin and un packin'
Town to town, up and down the dial
Baby! you and me were never meant to be
Just maybe think of me once in a while
I'm at WKRP In Cincinatti....
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship
The mate was a mighty sailing man
The skipper- Brave and sure
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour...A three hour tour.
The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The Minnow would be lost ..The Minnow would be lost
The ship's aground on the shore of this
Uncharted desert isle
With Gilligan...
The Skipper too
The Millionaire
and His wife.
The movie star
The Professor and Mary Ann.
Here on Gilligan's Isle...
In the first season, the line: "The professor and Mary Ann." was not used.
Instead they used "And the rest..."
Like it was too much to add those two.. LOL

For starters, go into the tablature archive, M, Misc Television. You will
find bunches of tv theme songs there. I know Gilligan's Island is there. I
am not sure about the others.

The home of television lyrics
First of all, you need a history refresher. None of those shows started
after 1980. and "Gilligan's Island" goes back to the mid-1960s!
I'll help you out wth the lyrics, anyway:
OPENING THEME FROM "WKRP IN CINCINNATI"
By Tom Scott
Baby, if you've ever wondered,
wondered whatever became of me,
I'm living on the air in Concinnati
Cincinnati WKRP.
Been kinda tired of packing and unpacking
Town to town, up and down the dial
Maybe you and me were never meant to be
Just maybe think of me once in awhile
I'm at WKRP in Cincinnati.
WELCOME BACK (Theme to "Welcome Back, Kotter")
Words and music by John B. Sebastian
Welcome back
Your dreams were your ticket out
Welcome back
To that same old place that you laughed about.
Well, the names have all changed since you hung around
But the dreams have remained, and they've turned around
Who'd have thought they'd lead you.
Back here where we need you?
Yeah, we tease him a lot
'Cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back.
(welcome back, welcome back, welcome back)
(welcome back, welcome back)
Welcome back
We always cound spot a friend
Welcome back
And I smile when I think how you must have been
And I know what a scene you were learning in
Was there something that made you come back again
And what could ever lead you,
Back here where we need you?
Yeah, we tease him a lot
'Cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back.
(welcome back, welcome back, welcome back)
(welcome back, welcome back, welcome back)
(welcome back, welcome back, welcome back)
THEME FROM THE TELEVISION SERIES "THE LOVE BOAT"
Music by Charles Fox
Lyric by Paul Williams
Love, exciting and new
Come aboard, we're expecting you
And Love, life's sweetest reward
Let it flow.
It floats back to you.
The Love Boat
Soon will be making another run
The Love Boat
Promises something for everyone
Set a course for adventure
Your heart on a new romance
And love won't hurt anymore
It's an open smile on a friendly shore
It's love.
Welcome aboard, it's love.
THE BALLAD OF GILLIGAN'S ISLE

Just a few minor corrections:
> Welcome back...
> You're dreams were you're ticket out
YOUR dreams were YOUR ticket out
> Welcome back...
> To that same ol'place that you laughed about
> All the names have been changed since you hung around
Well, the names have all changed since you hung around
> But those dreams have remained and they've turned around
> Who'd of thought they need you
Who'd HAVE thought THEY'D LEAD you
> Back here where we need you
> Yeah we tease him alot
Yeah, we tease him A LOT
> 'Cause we got him on the spot
> Welcome back...
> Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back...
> Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back....
> Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back....
There was also a second verse:
Welcome back ...
We always could spot a friend,
Welcome back ...
And I smile when I think how you must have been
And I know what a scene you were learning in
Was there something that made you come back again?
And what could ever lead ya
Back here where we need ya
Yeah, we tease him a lot cause we got him on the spot
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back,
