I'm trying to figure out a song that I have on a tape from about 1987. It's
possible that it's Salt & Pepper -- it is remeniscent of Push It---or based
on it. Below are the lyrics....any help is appreciated

you've got to grab it
grab it like you want it

you've got to grab that thang when it's up in your face
cause if you push it too far, he'll go another place
you've got to grab it
don't let it go
you best move fast
cause you move too slow
push it
no, you've got to grab it
grab it like you want it

you've got to grab it
don't let it get away
you might not get the chance another day
so take a lesson
and i hope you learn
that if you push it
it might not return
Breakdown, ooh, baby, baby

well i'm bunny g
and i'm lady t
when ever in the place ?? equal ecstacy
cause the x is for excitement
the t is too damn much
c is for the cooler ya wish ya could touch
my name is bunny
and this is not funny
if you come to my house then I will get your money
my name is tigra i'm a funky flied? skeezy
my smile is big but my ego is bigger
grab it, grab it like you want it

awesome and then some and we got what it takes
we are the real thing, we are not fakes
cause our rhymes are ours, they're not war or pay
and like grandma's chicken soup, they are homemade
t is cause i'm tentalizing
i because I am inviting
g is for the girl in me
r is ???
a is cause i'm simply awesome
b is cause I know ya want some
u is cause you wish you got some
n is cause i'm nice
and twice because i'm nasty
y ya don't need to know these cause i said so

last time
grab it, grab it like you want it
you got to grab it, don't let it get away
you might not get the chance another day
so take a lesson and I hope you'll learn
that if you push it, it might not return

yeah, word

etc...

Etc...

The duo's name is L'Trimm. They released "Grab It" as an "answer" song to
"Push It" by Salt & Peppa. L'Trimm also did the song "Cars That Go BOOM".

The group is L'Trimm!

They also sang:

We like the cars
the cars that go BOOM!
We're Tigra and Bunny
and we like the BOOM!

Your welcome

This song as by the duo called "L'Trimm" - the team that also brought you
"We like the cars - the cars that go boom. We're Tigra, and Bunny, and
we like the boom."

This is by L'Trimm. They have two CD's out, both of which are now kinda
hard to find. This is from their first album.
