Do you know the lyrics to the French song in An Affair to Remember?
or even the place where I could find the lyrics..I hope to find the piano
notes as well!

I assume your mean the 1957 film that Leonard Maltin describes thusly:

An Affair to Remember
US (1957): Romance
Leonard Maltin Review: 2.5 stars out of 4

115 min, No rating, Color, Available on videocassette and laserdisc
Director
Leo McCarey
Cast Includes
Cary Grant Deborah Kerr
Richard Denning Neva Patterson
Cathleen Nesbitt Robert Q. Lewis
Charles Watts Fortunio Bonanova
Review
Middling remake of McCarey's LOVE AFFAIR. Bubbling shipboard comedy in first half,
overshadowed by draggy soap-opera clichés and unnecessary musical numbers in N.Y.C.
finale. Vic Damone croons title tune on sound track. CinemaScope.

If so, the Internet Movie Database lists only one song from that soundtrack:

Soundtrack details for
Affair to Remember, An (1957)

"An Affair to Remember"
music by Harry Warren
lyrics by Harold Adamson and Leo McCarey
performed by Vic Damone

I'm not familiar with any French words to this song. If this is the one and you truly
believe it has French lyrics, I'll forward your request to lady who may have the sheet
music. If it's NOT this title tune, we'll need the correct title of what you're
thinking of.

Ce bel amour, qui ne peut mourir,
Sera pour nous un doux souvenir,
Promesse ardente du premier baiser,
Qui nous lie, tous deux, pour l'éternité

D'unbel amour toujour grandisant,
Qui défiera les épreuves du temps.
Trouvons la joie, restedans mes bras,
Que nous vivions un bel amour,
Affaire de couer qu'on n'oublie pas.
