Can anyone help with the name of the song and the group.
The words "when the bullet hits the bone" appear at the end of the chorus.
Thanks,
Michael

Here are the lyrics
Lyrics to "Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring
intro:
Somewhere in a ________ hotel room there's a guy starting to
realize he's ________ ________ is turning his back on thin air.
It's 2am....
1st Verse:
It's 2am (it's 2 am)
Fear is gone (fear is gone)
I'm somewhere where
The Gun's still warm
Thinking my connection
Is tired of taking chances
Yeah, there's a storm on the loose
Sun reigns on my head
Wrapped up inside themselves
Circuits are dead
Cannot decode
My whole life spins into a frenzy
Chorus:
(2 times)
Now I'm steppin' into the Twilight Zone
This is a madhouse
Feels like being home
My feet they can't move
Under moon and star
Where am I to go Now that I've gone too far
(2 times)
You will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
2nd Verse:
I'm fallin' down a spiral
Destination unknown
Double cross messenger
All alone
Can't get no connection
Can't get through where are you?
Well the night weighs heavy
On his guilty mind
This far from
The border line
When the hitman comes
He knows damn well he has been cheated
(chorus)
Peace,
Dan

Logic, they say, belongs to man,

No. The sequel to Radar Love (1973) was Instant Poetry (1974).
Then came Candy's Going Bad (in the USA). After that came singles like
Ce Soir (Kill Me), Tons Of Time, Sleepwalkin', To The Hilt, Bombay,
Just Like Vince Taylor, Movin' Down Life, Weekend Love, I Do Rock 'N Roll,
Long Blond Animal, No For An Answer, Slow Down, and then (!) Twilight Zone.
That was only back in 1982.
Last year, they scored a hit with "Burning Stuntman".
This year, they scored again with "The Devil Made Me Do It" (new version).
And remember that they scored their first hit in 1965: "Please Go".
Thanks for your patience. :)
