Hello

I don't think I'm at the right place to ask this question, but France is
not that well integrated in the internet-business so:

Do you know who wrote the song/ sang this song/ with the words

Je viens (and that sort of things)

It seems to be a little bit erotic :-)

Thanks in advance

This is a total shot in the dark but maybe its Enigma's "Sadeness Part I"
Does a woman say "Dit-moi" and a man ask "Qu'est -que- vous cherchez?"
in the song? If so, that should be it. As for the lyrics:
http://www.stud.his.no/~joarg/Enigma/enigma-lyrics.html
There are other lyrics to other Enigma songs; it might be a different one.
Good luck!

As in 'a little bit pregnant' ?

Jane Birkin (and before her Brigitte Bardot, a forbidden version) sang this
together with the author, the late Serge Gainsbourgh. A really hot melody and
song, beginnning of the seventies, I'd guess, I loved it and still do.

Je t'aime moi non plus
----------------------
(Jane)
Je t'aime, je t'aime, oh, oui, je t'aime
(Serge)
Moi non plus (???)
(Jane)
Oh, mon amour
(Serge)
La vague, irresolue
(1)
Je vais, je vais et je viens,
Entre tes reins,
Je vais et je viens,
Entre tes reins,
Et je me retiens
(Jane)
Je t'aime, je t'aime, oh, oui, je t'aime
(Serge)
Moi non plus
(Jane)
Oh, mon amour,
Tu es la vague, moi l'île nue
(2)
Tu vas, tu vas et tu viens,
Entre mes reins,
Tu vas et tu viens,
Entre mes reins,
Et je te reçois (her french wasn't any better than mine, sounds like rejois)

Je t'aime, je t'aime, oh, oui, je t'aime
(Serge)
Moi non plus
(Jane)
Oh, mon amour
(Serge)
La vague, irresolue
(1)
(2)
(Serge)
L'amour physique, est sans issue
(1)
...
Followed by some heavy sighing, I wonder why.

I just played it, to take down the text, but I assure you, it's a hell of a
song to listen to when you're alone.

Soyez sage, Marieke!

Tu connais la chanson Marieke, de Jacques Brel?

I believe it is 'Je t'aime moi non plus' by Serge Gainsbourg. The only
few lines I remember are

Je vais et je viens entre tes reins
Et je me retiens

You might try asking your question on soc.culture.france, I think
someone there should be able to answer you.

Yes it's the right place, that are some French speaking people here.

They don't want to be integrated... they have they own music newsgroup
"fr.rec.musiques".

"Je vais et je viens entre tes reins."
could be translated by
"I go forth and back between your ..." (in French, the last word is
"kidney", but I think that wouldn't have any sense in English).

It must be Serge Gainsbourg and the title of the song
is "Je t'aime, moi non plus" - "I love you, neither do I".

Originally sung with Brigitte Bardot.
Newest version with Jane Birkin.

Was that "Je t'aime" by Jane Birken ? I think it came out
late 60's early, early 70's. Lots of organ music (no pun
intended), some heavy breathing, lots of "Je t'aime, Je
t'aime", and in the bridge some *real* heavy breathing,
and finally the male (don't remember who it was) says
"maintenant, je biens"?

Off the top of my head:

Joe le taxi (il) ne va pas partout
Il ne marche pas au soda
Son saxon jaune
Il connait touts les routes par coeur
Dans sa caisse, la musique a Joe resonne
C'est la rhumba,
vieux rock au mambo bidon

Ummm.. can't remember any more.

Indeed, it's "Je t'aime...moi non plus" by Jane Birkin et Serge Gainsbourg.
The song was a hit over here in NL in 1969 and also in 1974.
