That be Cream.

WHITE ROOM
Cream
Jack Bruce and Pete Brown

In the white room with black curtains near the station.
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings.
Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes.
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment.
I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines;
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves.
You said no strings could secure you at the station.
Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows.
I walked into such a sad time at the station.
As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning.
I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back;
Lie with you where the shadows run from themselves.
At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd.
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten.
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes.
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings.
I'll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd;
Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves.

These are the words i have.

Cream - "Wheels of Fire"

White Room (Bruce/Brown)

In the white room with black curtains near the station.
Blackroof country, no gold pavements, tired starlings.
Silver horses ran down moonbeams in your dark eyes.
Dawnlight smiles on you leaving, my contentment.

I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines;
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves.

You said no strings could secure you at the station.
Platform ticket, restless diesels, goodbye windows.
I walked into such a sad time at the station.
As I walked out, felt my own need just beginning.

I'll wait in the queue when the trains come back;
Lie with you where the shadows run from themselves.

At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd.
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten.
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes.
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings.

I'll sleep in this place with the lonely crowd;
Lie in the dark where the shadows run from themselves.

Actually Eric Clapton WAS the heart of Cream when they first recorded this. He
may even have wrote it (unsure).

White Room was first done by Cream (featuring Eric Clapton) back in the late
60s. Blind Faith may have also recorded it (also featuring Eric Clapton) a bit
later

I was well aware of Clapton being part of Cream, and the song was actually
done by
Clapton and Jack Bruce( who made a huge contribution to Cream both as a
musician
and a song writer) There is a live version of this song where Clapton plays
with some
awesome musicians. I had an idea this song was written by Felix Pappaldi or
someone

A ref book I have "Who Wrote That Song?" lists writing credit for White
Room to Jack Bruce and Pete Brown; popularized by Cream.
