My parents are looking for the lyrics to "I'm a yankee doodle
dandy". I couldn't find them on some of the major lyrics sites.
If anybody can get me the lyrics, or direct me to where they
could be found, I would appreciate it.

I can help a little, but not much. Here goes:

I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy
A Yankee Doodle Do or die
A real live nephew of my Uncle Sam
Born on the fourth of July
I've got a Yankee Doodle Sweetheart
She's my Yankee Doodle Joy
..... .... ....
Yes I am that Yankee Doodle Boy

Good luck finding the rest of it. You could just rent the old
James Cagney movie.

Yankee Doodle Dandy from the musical "Little Johnny Jones"
Words and Music by George M. Cohan

I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy,
A Yankee Doodle, do or die;
A real live nephew of my Uncle Sam's,
Born on the Fourth of July.
I've got a Yankee Doodle sweetheart,
She's my Yankee Doodle joy,
Yankee Doodle came to London,
just to ride the ponies,
I am a Yankee Doodle Boy.

Enjoy!

Helen
