I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Don't ask me 'bout the shape I'm in...
I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin.

All help is appreciated.

It's by Foghat, but the title eludes me. It's called something like "Oh Well."

The song was originally done by Fleetwood Mac (early Mac), I am not sure the
name, I think it is "the answer" or something like that.

Small addition to this: it has been covered multiple times, as did
"Green Manalishi" (Judas Priest) and "Black Magic Woman" (Santana) and
other songs from the early Mac. A friend was astounded to discover
that it was Fleetwood Mac, after thinking for years it was written by
a group named something silly like "Rocket".

Bill must be a fellow FM fan... ;-)

Oh Well (P. Green)

I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you

I might not give the answer that you want me to

Oh well

Now, when I talked to God I knew he'd understand
He said, "Stick by me and I'll be your guiding hand
But don't ask me what I think of you

I might not give the answer that you want me to"

Oh well

The title is Oh well, and actually it was written by Peter Green, the
original guitarist for Fleetwood Mac. The Rockets did a decent cover.

"Oh Well" was also covered by Joe Jackson on his Laughter and Lust CD.

Danny Kirwan were around

I have decided to vote for you after all Steve. I never thought of you as a politician, but then; Trump was never a politician either and he has turned the world on it's head!

Dear friends, I heard a music track at a night club, played by the DJ, it had the same / similar words. But the music was different, it was more like a lounge music, completely different from Fleetwood Mac's version. The singer's voice was husky. All I remember is the words "Don't ask me what I think of you" "I can't find the words..."(If I am remembering correctly..). Can somebody help me with the name of that track? Many thanks.
