Well, I remember the song "Give Peace A Chance" by Sean Lennon during
the Gulf War had the line "New Kids dance on MTv" in it...

The first couple that pop in my head are Too Much Information by Duran
Duran and Down wit MTV by Ed Lover and Doctor Dre Yo MTV Raps. I think
MTV is mentioned in George Michaels Freedom '90 off Listen Without
Prejudice, Vol. 1 (anyone ever see a vol. 2?).

The most obvious one I can think of is by Dire Straits that has the line in
it 'I want my MTV'. Money for nothing I think it's called.

Let's see...there's also "Freedom 90" by George Michael ("the boys at
MTV") and Ed Lover and Doctor Dre's "Down with MTV."
