I transcribed them myself - out of frustration... Most I'm sure is correct,
but the things with the (?)'s I am not sure of.. Anyone mind reviewing them?
I need a second opinion...

-What It's Like
-Whitey Ford Sings The Blues
We've all seen the man at the liquor store begging for your change,
The hair on his face is dirty, dreadlocked'em for the mane. (?)
He asked a man for what he could spare with shame in his eyes.
He did a job, you fucking slobs are …(?)
God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in his shoes,
'Cause then you really might know what it's like to sing the blues.
Then you really might know what it's like
Then you really might know what it's like
Then you really might know what it's like
Then you really might know what it's like
Mary got pregnant from a kid named Tom, he said he was in love.
Said, "Don't worry about a thing, baby, 'cause I'm the man you've been
dreaming of."
Three months later he say he won't date her or return her call.
And she swear goddamn that'll(?) find that man, cut off his balls.
And she heads for the clinic, and she gets some static walking in through
the door
They call her a killer, and they call her a sinner, and they call her a
whore.
God forbid you ever had to walk a mile in her shoes
'Cause then you really might know what it's like to have to choose.
(chorus)
'Seen the rich man beg, 'seen the good man sin, 'seen the tough man cry.
'Seen the loser win, and the sad man grin, 'heard an honest man lie.
'Seen the good side of bad and the down side of up and everything in
between.
I licked the silver spoon, drank from the golden cup, smoked the finest
green.
'Stroked the fattest dimes(?) at least a couple of times before I broke
their heart,
You know where it is, though it usually depends on where you start.
I knew this kid named Max, he used to get fast acts on the corner with
drugs.
He liked to hang out lady-like, get shit-faced and keep the pace with Dougs
(?)
'Till late one night there was a big gunfight and Max lost his head.
He pulled out his Colt .45 and talked some shit and wound up dead.
Now his wife and kids are caught in the midst of all his pain.
Y'know he crumples(?) that way, 'least that's what they say when you play
the game.
God forbid you ever had to wake up and hear the news.
'Cause then you really might know what it's like to have to lose.
(chorus)
-to have to lose.
