Google does just fine if you get the title right...it's "Who Put The Bomp (In
The Bomp, Bomp, Bomp)", and no "sha" in there at all...first three pages it
returns for
"who put the bomp" lyrics
have titles starting with Barry Mann's name....
Agreed, it doesn't do as well with
"as the years go by" lyrics
returning songs by Amy Grant and Vanessa Williams before the Mashmakhan song
that actually has that title, and throwing in hits for songs by IQ and Santana
on the first page of hits...but of course that's a much more obscure tune....
(Interesting combination of names on your song's credits...says it's by Mann and
Gerry Goffin, usually the male halves of teams with Cynthia Weil and Carole
King, not with each other...still, it's all one big Brill Building family)....r

"You got Schadenfreude on my Weltanschauung!"
"You got Weltanschauung in my Schadenfreude!"
That is a darn good post. So our conclusion is this : Google does
fine when we
poor shlubs out here ...get it precisely correctly done. Whereas
Alta Vista can rock
and roll .. with mere tidbits of info. Ergo " Alta - you're doin a
helluva job " OH
who put bang in the bang sha bang...Who put the dong in the lotty
lotty ding dong
who put the shang in the shanga langa ....No matter how yah slice
it ..SIMPLY
A GREAT SONG ...
Well, whad'ya know!...Google can't seem to find my lyrics page with the phrase
"gooey gooey love" (they're up to "about 63" hits now), but AV did (fourth one
down)....
At one time my song was the only hit on the entire web for that phrase....r
Crackin' me up here !!! And now of course I cant
get the " Bomp sha Bomp" out of my head. Maybe
If I start humming " Yummy Yummy Yummy I've
got Love in MY tummy " Adios por ahora .. despues
