Somewhere between 1955 and 1959 there was a pop song with lyrics that
included:

"I dreamed that I was Queen of France,
And at the Royal Palace Dance,
........???....."

That's all I can remember.

Can anyone spot the name of the song and the female artist who sang it?

The song has a male counterpart in Al Stewart's "King of Portugal", which
begins :
