I'm trying to find the lyrics for the song Misty. (I kind of need it
urgently as I, and other students in my music class are doing an vocal
arrangement of the song 'Misty')
I'm not sure who this song is by, but i can check it up once I'm back at
school.
If you do have or know places on the Net where I can find Misty Lyrics,
please send to this address: Ho...@NetAccess.co.nz
Anyway help would be Appreciated.
Cheers,
Howard
Look at me, I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree
And I feel like I'm clinging to a cloud
I can't understand, I get misty just holding your hand.
Walk my way, and a thousand violins begin to play,
Or it might be the sound of your hello,
That music I hear, I get misty the moment you're near.
You can say that you're leading me on,
But it's just what I want you to do,
Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost,
That's why I'm following you.
On my own, would I wander through this wonderland alone,
Never knowing my right foot from my left, my hat from my glove, I'm too misty
and too much in love.

If you're referring to the classic jazz song, keep reading...As for who
sings it, I think of it as an Ella Fitzgerald song, but I'm sure others have
recorded it.
The lyrics, as found in Rabid Squirrel's Jazz Archive:

Misty
Look at me, I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree;
And I feel like I'm clingin' to a cloud,
I can' t understand
I get misty, just holding your hand.
Walk my way,
And a thousand violins begin to play,
Or it might be the sound of your hello,
That music I hear,
I get misty, the moment you're near.
Can't you see that you're leading me on?
And it's just what I want you to do,
Don't you notice how hopelessly I'm lost
That's why I'm following you.
On my own,
When I wander through this wonderland alone,
Never knowing my right foot from my left
My hat from my glove
I'm too misty, and too much in love.
Too misty,
And too much
In love.....

To reply directly, replace "hatesjunk" with "72".
Johnny Mathis also recorded "Misty" and so did Country singer Ray Stevens.
