Mystery Song 1:
---------------
No more running down the wrong road
Dancing to a different drum
Can't you see what's going on
Deep inside your heart?
Always Searching for the real thing
Living like it's far away
Just leave all the madness in yesterday
You're holding the key when you believe it
Shine, Sweet freedom, shine your light on me
You are the magic, you're right where I want to be
Oh sweet freedom, carry me along
We'll keep the spirit alive, holding on
Mystery Song 2:
---------------
When I come home, you telephone
And say you're waiting for me
I asked you why, I hear you cry
Cause you're still waiting for me
Someday you'll be shedding your tears
To cry over me
Someday I'll be losing this fear
Now I'm alone, you telephone
And tell me you don't need me
I ask you why, you tell me lies
And say the truth would hurt me
Mystery Song 3:
---------------
Seems like it took forever to find you
I was always running one step behind
And I can still see you standing
There on the beach by the river landing
You are the one that was so outstanding
And I've finally found a place
That looks and feels like it's my home
And I'm never going to leave this place again
No, never again
Never without you
No, never again
Never without you
Mystery Song 4:
---------------
As if I really didn't understand
That I was just another part of the plan
I went off looking for the promise
Believing in the motherland
From the comfort of a dreamer's bed
And the safety of my own head
I went off speaking of the future
While other people fought and bled
The kid I was when I first left home
Was looking for his freedom and a life of his own
But the freedom that he found wasn't quite as sweet
When the truth was known
I have prayed for America
I was made for America
It's in my blood and in my bones
By the dawn's early light
By all I know is right
We're gonna reap what we have sown
Mystery Song 5:
---------------
Contact is all it takes
To change your life, to lose your place in time
Contact, asleep or awake
Coming around you may wake up to find
Questions deep within your eyes
Now more than ever you realize
And then you sense a change
Nothing feels the same
All your dreams are strange
Love comes walking in
Some kind of alien
Reach for the opening
Simply pulls a string
Mystery Song 6:
---------------
Sometimes you twist
Always insist that you know a way
Should I let go now?
Would I even know how to, anyway?
And all that matters is turned around
Over and over again
We're at full circle
It comes down to now and then
Stay the night
Let a little love show
Stay the night
It's all right, yeah
Stay the night
Don't say you don't know
Stay the night
Mystery Song 7:
---------------
Sitting on the doorstep of the house again [??] to fall
I can feel you there
Thinking of a reason -- well it's really not very hard
To love you even though you nearly lost my heart
How can I explain the meaning of our love?
It fits so tight, closer than a glove
Sitting on a pebble by the river playing guitar
Wonderin' if we're really ever goin' to get that far
Do you know there's something wrong?
'Cause I've felt it all along
Mystery Song 8:
---------------
Another day has passed me by
And there's an island in the sun to see me through
Another day in paradise
But there's no reason, there's no rhyme, without you
Here comes the night
Here comes the dreaming of you
Feeling you're loving me
Here comes the night
Here comes the feeling
I've been waiting here for so long
I've been waiting here for so long

Mystery Song 2:
I'm hearing Glass Tiger when I sing it in my head, but I could be way off.
Don't know the title either.
Mystery Song 7:
This is Valotte (sp?) by Julian Lennon. I think it was on the same album as
"too late for goodbyes" but I haven't got a clue what that album was called.
I wish I could've been more helpful, but those other songs are a mystery to me
too! *jane
"No one's gonna read read it so I'm sure it doesn't matter" -Sloan "autobiography"
That one is by Glass Tiger. The name of the song is Someday.

Mystery song #5 is from Van Halen. Again, I don't know the album, but
I think the song's called "Love comes Walking in". It's on one of the later
albums, 'cause Sammy Hagar sings it.

LOVE WALKS IN
- Van Halen
- from the album "5150"
Contact is all it takes
To change your life to lose your place in time
Contact! Asleep or awake
Coming around you may wake up to find
Questions deep within your eyes,
Things you've never realized
Chorus:
So when you sense a change
Nothing feels the same
All your dreams are strange, love comes walkin' in
Some kind of alien
Wait for the opening
Then simply pulls a string
Another world, some other time
You lay your sanity on the line
Familiar faces familiar sights
Reach back remember with all your might
Ohh there she stands in a silken gown
Silver lights shining down
Chorus
Love comes walkin' in
Solo
Sleep and dream is all I crave
I travel far across the Milky Way
To my master I become a slave
Til we meet again some other day
Where silence speaks as loud as war
And the earth returns to what it was before
Chorus
Love comes walkin' in
