Help ID '80s songs from lyrics

I'm trying to identify the titles, original performers, and ideally
currently-available CDs with eight pop/rock songs from about 10-15 years
ago. I've already tried every probable title I can dream of in several
on-line music stores' search engines and a lyric search web site, to no
avail. I'm including subsets of the lyrics (as I hear them; please don't
laugh at any ludicrous errors!) here. If anybody can help to identify
these, I'd appreciate it. Please note the anti-spam measure in my return

This is Sweet Freedom by Michael McDonald I think. It was the theme song from
the movie Running Scared with Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal I believe.
Mystery Song 2:
I'm hearing Glass Tiger when I sing it in my head, but I could be way off.
Don't know the title either.
Mystery Song 7:
This is Valotte (sp?) by Julian Lennon. I think it was on the same album as
"too late for goodbyes" but I haven't got a clue what that album was called.
I wish I could've been more helpful, but those other songs are a mystery to me

That one is by Glass Tiger. The name of the song is Someday.

Mystery song #5 is from Van Halen. Again, I don't know the album, but
I think the song's called "Love comes Walking in". It's on one of the later
albums, 'cause Sammy Hagar sings it.
