What 80s rock song?

Chorus goes something like this:

"There's a crazy fire in my heart tonight....????...higher and higher in
my soul....."

The song is pretty fast and the style is a bit like Survivor's style.
So, it's a fast rocking song from the 80's.

Anyone?

Nah, it's not that. For some reason, -I'm- reminded of a Rod Stewart
song, but that's probably wrong, too. I think I'm thinking of
"Sailing"

It isn't that one. The song I'm looking for is faster and harder. Thanks anyway.

I believe it was some kind of hit (in mid 80s according to a friend of mine).

Here's a longer extract:
"...there's no points for second best / there's a crazy fire in my heart tonight
/ glowing(?) higher and higher in my soul...."

Any other suggestions?
