There are several songs with the phrase "fools rush in"
Ricky Nelson did the song "Fools Rush In" and Elvis Presley did "Can't
Help Falling In Love" which had the phrase "wise men say only fools rush in"

Both are available on Lyrics World

Elvis Presley
Can't Help Falling in Love
(words & music by George Weiss - Hugo Peretti - Luigi Creatore)

Wise men say only fools rush in
but I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay, would it be a sin
If I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
some things are meant to be
take my hand, take my whole life too
for I can't help falling in love with you

Like a river flows surely to the sea
Darling so it goes
some things are meant to be
take my hand, take my whole life too
for I can't help falling in love with you
for I can't help falling in love with you

- previously charted in 1940 by Glenn Miller (#1), Tommy Dorsey (#12), and

- Words and Music by Johnny Mercer & Rube Bloom

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread
And so I come to you, my love, my heart above my head.
Though I see the danger there
If there's a chance for me, then I don't care

Mm-mm-mm-mm
Fools rush in where wise men never go
But wise men never fall in love, so how are they to know?
When we met, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let this fool rush in

<instrumental interlude>

Fools rush in where wise men never, never, never go
Eh, but wise men never fall in love, so how are they to know?
Ahh, when we met, girl, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let this fool rush in

Just open up your heart and let this fool rush on in
Just open up your heart because I-I-I-I-I-I-I am coming in
Open up your heart and let this fool rush in!!

Transcribed by Robin Hood

These lyrics were transcribed from the specific recording mentioned
above and do not necessarily correspond with lyrics from other

No knock on any of the above mentioned artists, but the definitive
"Fools Rush In" was probably that of Billy Eckstine, ca 1940's.

I think you mean "Can't help falling in love with you". The lyric goes "Wise man
say, only fools rush in..." Right?

If nobody else posts, come back to me. I have the lyrics but I will have to type
them first.

Alex.

Fools rush in, where angels fear to tread
And so I come to you my love
My heart above my head

Though I see the danger there
If there's a chance for me
Then I don't care, oh-oh-oh-oh

Fools rush in, where wise men never go

But wise men never fall in love

So how are they to know

When we met, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let

This fool rush in

And I don't care, oh-oh-oh-oh

Fools rush in, where wise men never go

But wise men never fall in love

So how are they to know

When we met, I felt my life begin
So open up your heart and let

This fool rush in

So open up your heart and let

This fool rush in

So open up your heart and let

This fool rush in

So open up your heart and let

This fool rush in
