You remember the old standard..."M" is for the (million smiles ?) you
gave me. "O" is for the blah, blah, blah, la dah...etc.

We're writing a comedy and need to find the lyrics for this song. If
the movie gets made, I'll give you support credit. If you do not know
the lyrics, perhaps you could put me on to a music library.

Whatever. Thanks in advance.

M is for the Many things she gave me
O is for the Other things she gave me
T is for the Thousands of things she gave me
H is for the Hundreds of things she gave me
E is for Everything she gave me
R is for the Rest of the things she gave me.

Put them all together, they spell Mother --
The best source of information that ever was.

:-) :-) :-)

The song is "Up Against The Wall, Redneck Mothers". I know Jerry Jeff
Walker did it among others..as for the verse you are referring to:

M is for the mudflaps you give me for my pick up
O is for the oil I put on my hair
T is for T-Bird
H is for Haggard
E ( I've heard this different ways) is for enema
And R is for....REDNECKS

And it's up against the wall, redneck mothers
Mothers who have loved their sons so well...

God, haven't thought of that song in decades

Oh no! It's more like this <g>.

M is for the mudflaps she bought me for my pickup truck.
O is for the oil in my hair.
T is for T-Bird
H is for Haggerd
E is for eggs and
R is for REDNECK!

(Jerry Jeff Walker, I think)

Come on people, a serious request, it's not that much to expect at least
ONE serious answer is it?

M is for the million things she gave me
O is that she's only growing old (??)
T is for the tears she shed to save me (??)
and H is for her heart of purest gold
E is for her eyes, so bright and shiny
R is right, and right she'll always be
put them all together, they spell mother
the word that means the world to me

(as best I can remember it, corrections welcome)
