all who could tell me the artist and the song. Other than a couple of
humorous responses and one request to please let THEM know if I ever
found out, I got nothing. Today, I found it! It's called "Aimee" and
it's by Ozzy Osbourne! I would NEVER have guessed ol' Ozzy
could...well, you know....sing. :) It is apparently named for his
daughter, Aimee (duh). Thanks for anyone who answered that I didn't
see because my ISP's news server had no more disk space because of all
the naked cheerleader pics.....

I downloaded a .MP3 file called simply 'aimee.mp3' thinking it was
going to be Aimee by Pure Prairie League. It wasn't. However, I like
this one, too. :) I have never heard it, don't know the artist or the
song name, but the lyrics (for the most part) are very clear. Here is
as close a transcription as I can come to the song in its entirety.
I've tried looking it up at musicblvd.com, amazon.com, cdnow.com, the
international lyrics server, and I've tried 'aimee', 'amy' and
'angel.' Nothing was a hit that I could identify as this particular
song. I only wish I could post the .mp3, but it's rather large....:)
