Hi! Thanks for reading this message.... I'm looking for lyrics (and
midi/wave files) for the song that you can listen to at the end of the
film "Philadelphia" (Tom Hanks); I don't mean the one by Bruce
Springsteen, but the one one played just on the ending of the movie. I'm
afraid I don't know the singer ...
Thanks!!

The song is entitled "Philadelphia", and was written and performed by Neil
Young. (The song was also nominated for an Academy Award, but lost to Bruce
Springsteens "Streets of Philadelphia" from the same film. I personally think
Neil was robbed...
Here are the lyrics:

Philadelphia

Sometimes I think that I know
What love's all about
And when I see the light
I know I'll be all right.

I've got my friends in the world,
I had my friends
When we were boys and girls
And the secrets came unfurled.

City of brotherly love
Place I call home
Don't turn your back on me
I don't want to be alone
Love lasts forever.

Someone is talking to me,
Calling my name
Tell me I'm not to blame
I won't be ashamed of love.

Philadelphia,
City of brotherly love.
Brotherly love.

Sometimes I think that I know
What love's all about
And when I see the light
I know I'll be all right.
Philadelphia.
