Raindrops keep fallin' on my head.
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed;
Nothing seems to fit.
Those raindrops keep fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'.
So, I just did me some talkin' to the sun.
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done.
Sleepin' on the job, those raindrops keep fallin' on my head,
they keep fallin'
But there's one thing I know, the blues they send to meet me
won't defeat me.
It won't be long 'til happiness steps to greet me.
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head.
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red.
Cryin's not for me, cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free, nothin's worryin' me.
It won't be long 'til happiness steps up to greet me.
Raindrops keep fallin' on my head.
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red.
Cryin's not for me, 'cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Beacuse I'm free, nothin's worryin' me.

Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head
---------------------------------
Verse 1:
Raindrops keep falling on my head,
Just like the guy who's made a tooth-pick for his bed
Nothing seems to fit,
Oh___ raindrops keep falling on my head,
Keep a-falling.
Verse 2:
'Cos I just done me some talkin' to the sun,
And I said I didn't like the way you got things done
Sleeping on the job,
Oh___ raindrops keep falling on my head,
Keep a-falling.
Bridge:
But this one thing I know,
The birds they sent to meet me,
Won't they fit me up now,
And locked in their happiness,
Cos I'm,
To remain,
To greet great great great men___.
Verse 3:
Raindrops keep falling on my head,
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Cryin's not for me,
'Cos___ I ain't gonna stop the rain drop complaining.
[verse 3]
Bridge 2:
Because I'm free
Nothin's botherin' me.
Because I'm free
Nothin's botherin' me.
Because I'm free
Nothin's botherin' me.
Because I'm free
Nothin's botherin' me

Hi Mark,
Searched *All* Over The Net? Yeah, but you didn't find my well hidden
<g> lyrics page
(http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/walter_vogel/lyrics.htm)
From there I send you these lyrics.
- Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head
Raindrops keep falling on my head
And just like the guy who's feet are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Those raindrops keep falling on my head, they keep falling
So I just did me some talking to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on the job
Those raindrops keep falling on my head, they keep falling
But there's one thing, I know
The blues they sent to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long til happiness steps up to greet me.
Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
Oh, I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me
Have fun

Used in Dustin Hoffman/Jon Voight flick "Midnight Cowboy."
Song may have won Oscar; not sure.
Saw Bacharach with NC Symphony last year. A weak singer,
but fantastic music and songs. Well worth seeing if he
comes to play with your local symphony. He has extra
singers. Too many great songs to list, especially the Burt
Bacharach/Hal Davis songs.
