Here's some comments of Mr. Vegas' regarding his song
"Heads High" from an interview late last year. (Apologies
for the difficulty in transcribing a couple of words, but
the meaning seems pretty clear still.) The rest of the

MR. VEGAS:
"Well, as I said before, you know, my songs mainly targets the
women. (Because you have to have somebody out there bigging up
the women.) But "Heads High" is a song that is trying to tell the
ladies... keep your head high. Don't go walking down the street,
and if there's [dirt?] a guy on one corner or [dirt?] a guy or
something to say about it down there. You know, you just make
sure that you can hold your head high and walk by. There's
nothing to be ashamed if you can walk proud. You know, just be
independent and be yourself and be a woman. So just hold your
head high... As you say, just hold your head above the water..."
