The song is a duet (possibly more) and it is pretty '60s style:

a girl sings:"You better shape on up 'cause i need a man"
"Tell me more, tell me more like does he have a car...."

Thank-you!

Those two lines are from two different songs from the movie "Grease",
starring Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta. I heard some mix of a
bunch of "Grease" songs put together on the radio the other day, which is
what this is probably from. There were a bunch of songs in the mix,
including "You're the One that I Want" (the first lyric) and "Summer
Lovin'" (the second lyric) and "Greased Lightning". All in all, probably
some marketing ploy to try an cash in on other people's success through
remixing. Kind of like the Fugees.

First, you quoted two separate songs. Second, both are from the movie
Grease, and both are sung by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

"You better shape up 'cause I need a man" is from "You're the One That I
Want"
"Tell me more, tell me more like does he have a car" is from "Summer
Nights"

That sounds like something from the musical "Grease".

That's "You're the One that I Want" from the _Grease_ soundtrack, sung by

Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.

They are both by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, 1978.
The first is "You're the One That I Want," and the second line is
from "Summer Nights."
