I m looking l=not only for the lyrics for the subject song but a
little about the who and when the song was written.
I believe that eveyone in life whether acknowledged or otherwise has a

i assume you are are talking about the hit song by this title. there are a
dozen or songs at bmi by that title.
the hit was by the shirelles, around 1961. i would like to have a nickel for
every nickel i dropped into a juke box to play it.
written by willie denson and luther dixon; presumably around 60-61; dixon
was particularly prolific as a writer: hundred pounds of clay for gene
mcdaniels; 16 candles for the crests; soul serenade for king curtis; as well
as soldier boy by the shirelles.
