And the lyrics can be found at Doctor Demento's web site.
I don't have the URL but it should be easily obtainable
by any search engine.

Camp Grenada by Alan Sherman

Hello muddah, hello faddah
Here I am at Camp Granada
Camp is very entertaining
And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining.

I went hiking with Joe Spivy
He developed position ivy
You remember Leonard Skinner
He got phtomaine poisoning last night after dinner.

All the counselors hate the waiters
And the lake has alligators
And the head coach wants no sissies
So he reads to us from something called Ulysses.

How I don't want this should scare ya
But my bunkmate has malaria
You remember Jeffrey Hardy
They're about to organize a searching party.

Take me home, oh muddah, faddah
Take me home, I hate Granada
Don't leave me out in the forest where
I might get eaten by a bear.
Take me home I promise I will not make noise
or mess the house with other boys
Oh please don't make me stay
I've been here one whole day.

Dearest faddah, darling muddah,
How's my precious little bruddah
Let me come home if you miss me
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me.

Wait a minute, it's stopped hailing.
Guys are swimming, guys are sailing
Playing baseball, gee that's better
Muddah, faddah kindly disregard this letter.

Hi Loral. Thanks for your contribution to the newsgroup. However, in
future, would you please not uuencode your postings? Uuencoding is for
binary files - there's no benefit to uuencoding a text file. Instead,
you should just insert the text file into your message. In Forté Agent
(which I noticed you're using) pull down the "File" menu while in the
message editor and select "Insert Text File" instead of clicking on the
"Attachment" button. This will append the text to your message and
everyone will be able to read it without having to decode it first.

Thanks.

Try looking at the Dr. Dementia page (I don't know the address, search
on dementia). It has the lyrics to most of Alan Sherman's songs are out
there along with Tom Lehr, Monty Python, and Firesign Theatre.

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh
(A Letter From Camp)

Hello Muddah, hello Fadduh,
Here I am at Camp Granada.
Camp is very entertaining,

And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining.

I went hiking with Joe Spivey.
He developed poison ivy.
You remember Leonard Skinner.
He got ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner.

All the counselors hate the waiters,
And the lake has alligators.
And the head coach wants no sissies,

So he reads to us from something called Ulysses.

Now I don't want this should scare ya,
But my bunk mate has malaria.
You remember Jeffrey Hardy.

They're about to organize a searching party.

Take me home, oh Muddah, Fadduh,
Take me home, I hate Granada,
Don't leave me out here in the forest, where

I might get eaten by a bear.

Take me home, I promise I will not make noise,
Or mess the house with other boys.
Oh please don't make me stay,

I've been here one whole day.

Dearest Fadduh, darling Muddah,
How's my precious little Bruddah?
Let me come home if you miss me.
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kis me.

Wait a minute, it stopped hailing.
Guys are swimming, guys are sailing.
Playing baseball, gee that's better.
Muddah, Fadduh, kindly disregard this letter!

fits in somewhere and I don't remember where.

correct lyrics (according to:
http://www.catt.ncsu.edu/users/willow/KDB/lyrics/H/hello_muddah)

BTW, can anyone ID the musical score used for the song?

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh
