By attributing this song to Sonny and Cher you insult the name of its real
composer, Bob Dylan. Sonny and Cher recorded a song in 1971 with the title ALL
I EVER NEED IS YOU, a title which sounds a little like ALL I REALLY WANT TO DO,
but is a very different song. It's entirely possible that Sonny and Cher
recorded a version of Dylan's song, since the Byrds made some money off it in
1965 with their cover of it.
Here's Dylan's song:

ALL I REALLY WANT TO DO

Words and Music by Bob Dylan (c) 1964

1. I ain't lookin' to compete with you,
Beat or cheat or mistreat you,
Simplify you, classify you,
Deny, defy or crucify you.

Refrain:
All I really want to do,
Is baby be friends with you.

2. No and I ain't lookin' to fight with you,
Frighten you or uptighten you,
Drag you down, or bring you down,
Chain you down, or bring you down. (Refrain)

3. I don't want to straight face you,
Race or chase you, track or trace you,
Or disgrace you, or displace you,
Or define you, or confine you. (Refrain)

4. I don't want to meet your kin.
Make you spin, or do you in,
Or select you, or dissect you,
Or inspect you, or reject you. (Refrain)

5. I don't want to fake you out,
Take, or shake or forsake you out,
I ain't lookin' for you to feel like me,
See like me, or be like me. (Refrain)

Sonny & Cher DID record "All I Really Want To Do." I know because I have it
on a 45.
