Hello Donnita,

what about "St James Infirmary"? (If you need more information on this
song, just mail me)
But perhaps it is not suiting very vell (at the end of the song the patient
ist dead).

But there is another song performed by Jethro Tull called "Nursie". Perhaps
that愀 better...

But seriously, there's 'Kickstart My Heart' by Motley Crue.

Good luck.

...and there's "Ambulance Blues" by Neil Young on his _On the Beach_
album.

What about "Transfusion?" I can't remember who did that one, it was
before my time. My husband suggests "Give Blood" by Peter Townsend on
his White City album, and "I Came For You" (maybe?) by Manford Mann
and his Earth Band.

Transfusion by Nervous Norvis

"Transfusion" was by a gentleman who called himself Nervous Norvous;
I've only heard the song on Dr. Demento's show, and unfortunately it's
not on in the New York area lately (%&*#!). The gods know where you
might find the lyrics; they're not at the Demented site.

"(I Came) For You" is a Bruce Springsteen song (from GREETINGS FROM
ASBURY PARK N.J.) that Manfred Mann covered. Parts of it might work in
this context, but others ("your life was one long emergency") might give
the wrong idea altogether.

Keep on singing,

You cannot forget one of the most aboslutely gruesome, hideous,
offensive, (and perversely funny) songs ever,

"D.O.A." by Bloodrock

There's a classic song from the late sixties/early seventies by a
non-defunked band called Bloodrock whose most rememerbed song was
"D.O.A."... a song about dying on the way to the hospital after a
plane crash. A killer song... pun intended.
