I seem to recall a song we used to sing in music class when I was in
elementary school (late 70s). I have no idea who sang it, composed it, or
what all the lyrics were, but I remember that a verse went:

Peanut butter and jelly
I take it when I visit Aunt Nellie
She just likes her crumpets and tea
No little morsels for me
No peanut butter and, peanut butter and, peanut butter and jelly.

Then the singer and backup singers harmonized on the lyric "PB and J"
