well I had two weeks vacation common so I thought I would drive
down to Florida spend some time with a old friend, date a few girls,

so I packed up my car and then I called my mom in Tennessee and

when I walked into the flower shop the first thing I seen was this

thing knew the door come flyin open and the little boy ran back in again and he
said mister I forgot to thank you for these pretty roses he grinned shook my
hand and ran
back out again ..
well I started out of town and I was feelin real proud of myself for
thinkin about my
mama and just having the feeling that I really cared when I looked out my
window and I
seen that same little boy kneeling infront of a grave in an old cemetery..
I stopped my car, got out and walked up to where the little boy was
kneeling.
he looked up smiled and said this is where my mama stays .. she said she sure

ya for the pretty roses. well thats when I had to walk away and I drove rite
back to
that flower shop and I said ladie have you sent those roses to Tennessee ,, she

no not yet and I said well just never mind I will just take em back with me..
