This is kinda about the lyric, can you guys tell me what they say before they begin the actual
songs. They are too fast, can only hear some of it. Thank you guys!

Don't know about Sugar Ray, but Tupthumping starts out with:

We'll be singin'
When we're winnin'
We'll be singin'

I get knocked down...

No, there's something before that part, along the lines of

"Truth is, I thought it mattered. I thought the music mattered.
(something something) not like our people mattered."

I can't quite figure out, either, what's being said and it's never been
quoted any time I've seen the lyrics printed out.

I believe I heard Carla <sard...@xyzearthlink.net> say:

"Truth is, I thought it mattered. I thought that *music*
mattered. But does it? Bollocks! Not like our people matter."

i got these from the album cover. Tubthumping goes:

We'll be singin'
When we're winnin'

We'll be singin'...

I get knocked down
but I get up again
your never gonna keep me down....

Pissin' the night away...

He drinks a whisky drink
He drinks a vodka drink
He drinks a lager drink
He drinks a cider drink
He sings the songs that remind him of the good times
He sings the songs that remind him of the best times

"Oh Danny Boy, Danny Boy..."

I get knocked down
but I get up again
your never gonna keep me down....

Pissin' the night away...
He drinks a whisky drink
He drinks a vodka drink
He drinks a lager drink
He drinks a cider drink
He sings the songs that remind him of the good times
He sings the songs that remind him of the best times

"Don't cry for me, next door neighbor"

I get knocked down
but I get up again
your never gonna keep me down....
