I need help naming the Ray Charles song in the movie Christmas
Vacation. It is a Christmas song and it is played when Clark gets
locked in the attic and watches his old home movies. I checked the
Internet Movie Database looking for the Soundtrack, but it says there
was no soundtrack for this movie. I do not have a copy of the movie,
so I thought it might be in the credits. Can anyone name this song for
me? How about the lyrics? Any help would be appreciated.

The credits at the end of the movie list it as "That Spirit of Christmas"
written by Mabel John, Joel Webster and Parnell Davidson and performed by Ray
Charles.

And so the word went out from W...@What.Where (Cousin Eddie):

Don't know if this helps but Ray released a Christmas album called
"The Spirit Of Christmas" with these tracks:

What Child Is This
The Little Drummer Boy
Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town
This Time Of The Year
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer
That Spirit Of Christmas
All I Want For Christmas
Christmas In My Heart
Winter Wonderland
Christmas Time
Baby It's Cold Outside - Ray Charles & Betty Carter

The last one is a classic tune he did back in the 60's.
Hope this helps.

Cheers,
