the Man", which had some lyrics that went "I'm the one who wears the pants in
this family.. when I'm done doing your laundry." "Don't expect no flowers from
me because if I recall.. you prefer jewelry?" "He's the man of the house, when
you're not around." The man's voice singing goes from macho to wimpy
throughout the lines. I don't know if it was a radio exclusive, or a song on
some comedy tape, but if anyone could tell me who did it, or where that song
is from, I'd be very happy. It was played on WBCN in Boston, but when I called
to get it, nobody knew what I was talking about. Perhaps someone here has
heard it? Thank you.

(www.bobandtom.com), does this one. It's on at least one of their CD
projects, I think Factory Air is the name of the disc. Bob and Tom are
syndicated, I hear them in Cincinnati, and may well be in your area. The
song is called "The Man Song." He did a similar one called "The Woman
Song" but it's not as funny, in my opion anyway.
