If anyone knows the title and lyrics to a song with the words:

"Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven"

I'm not sure but I think it's something like Tears in Heaven or something
like that. The lyrics to that song would be greatly appreciated. e-mail
to pipp...@aol.com as I do not always have time to check the message
boards.

The movie in which "Tears From Heaven" was in: Rush.

One hell of a movie. Good one, IMHO.

"Tears From Heaven" was actually a tribute to Clapton's son, who died
needlessly falling from a balconey in a hotel, from a very high level.

It also was kind of fitting for the soundtrack. When you see the movie,
you'll see why.

The movie was Rush.

(And If I see you in heaven, I'm gonna be real sick not to mention
real, real surprised. ROFLMAO.)

The song is indeed called "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton. It was
featured in a movie soundtrack, but I don't recall which one off-hand (I
didn't see the movie). There is also a decent version of it on his
"Unplugged" cd.

Here's the lyrics to "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton - with apologies
for not crediting the publisher - I don't have the detail;
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tears in Heaven
(Eric Clapton)

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven ......

Would you hold my hand if I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand if I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way, through night and day,
'Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven .....

Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart, have you begging .... please ...
Beyond the door, there's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more tears in heaven .......

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven .......
