The artist that origionally created this song was a group called Nepoleon
XIV. I believe the title of the song is "They're coming to take me away".
I also believe that a CD by this group was released recently called "the
second coming(?)"
I only remember bits and pieces of the song, but you might also want to
check in the newsgroup rec.music.dementia
For those not familiar with Nepoleon XIV, they are a novelty group from
the 1950's that writes songs from the perspective of insane persons.
Such titles include:
They're coming to take me away
* I'm glad they came and took you away
* Now that they've came and taken me away
* spinoff of they're coming to take me away
There is also a 45 single that was out which played this song forward
on one side and in reverse on the opposite.

They're maybe others, but it's been a while since I've heard anything done
