I need the name of the song and the artist of this very fast dance song. I've

I don't know anything about dance songs but the lyrics you quoted sound like
"Love Is Alive" by Gary Wright from his "Dream Weaver" album which was
released in July 1975. Maybe the dance song you're looking for is a cover.

It is a cover, by Chaka Khan from the "I Feel For You" album. Those
lyrics Wayne listed are the right ones, possibly altered slightly by
Chaka.
