Please help with this song from the 70's. It is mostly keyboards/synths,
with a xylophone solo in the middle of the song. I think the lyrics go
something like:
Starlight
So Bright
Starbright
So Right

Please e-mail me at trashsup...@yahoo.com (Please take out the "trash"
to send e-mail) if you can help me on this one-Thanks!

Phil

Phil - this could be Moonlight Feels Right by Starbuck - it's got the xylo
solo.

Here are the lyrics from Lyrics World (not checked) -

MOONLIGHT FEELS RIGHT
Starbuck

The wind blew some luck in my direction
I caught it in my hands today
I finally made a tricky French connection
You winked and gave me your o.k.
I'll take you on a trip beside the ocean
And drop the top at Chesapeake Bay
Ain't nothing like the sky to dose a potion
The moon'll send you on your way

Moonlight feels right
Moonlight feels right

We'll lay back and observe the constellations
And watch the moon smilin bright
I'll play the radio on southern stations
Cause southern belles are hell at night
You say you came to Baltimore from Ole Miss
Class of seven four gold ring
The eastern moon looks ready for a wet kiss
To make the tide rise again

We'll see the sun come up on Sunday morning
And watch it fade the moon away
I guess you know I'm giving you a warning
Cause me and moon are itching to play
I'll take you on a trip beside the ocean
And drop the top at Chesapeake Bay
Ain't nothin like the sky to dose a potion
The moon'll send you on your way

How about....

STAR (Earth Wind and Fire)

by Maurice White, Eddie del Barrio & Allee Willis

In the sky, shines a star, spaces,
Near and far, calling out, who you are
And smiling in the night.

Star light, star bright beam across the
Sky -- falling, calling can you tell me why --
Star light, star bright mighty light to see.
Shining, smiling down on you and me --

Star hides from the rain, it turns
Against the pain, fooling many in the game
While smiling in the night --

I can feel the dark, take the night,
Apart, but then, the stars come out
And lift my heart --

Believing, there愀 a star, for everyone
Makes it easier, to recall, that together
For the children of the world -- There愀
A star smiling for us all

Star, shining high, cultivating my desire
Graceful in the sky
And smiling in the night

Chorus out

Could be Madonna's "Lucky Star"???
Is it a guy or a chick singing?

Are you sure it's "starlight, starbright"? Imagination has a song with "so good so right" and I could swear there's a xylophone in it. Good luck.
