Ron already provided the lyrics for you. The correct title is simply
Early Mornin' Rain. The song is BY Gordon Lightfoot, not Peter, Paul &
Mary, although they recorded one of the first of many wonderful covers
of it and made it one of Lightfoot's first songs to chart in the US.
Other early covers were by Ian & Sylvia, Elvis Presley and even Bob
Dylan. Here are clips of Lightfoot's two studio recordings of the song:

The first recording was made in '64 but not released until '66 on his
first album for United Artists. It is available on CD today on various
compilations of his UA recordings and also on the wonderful new boxed
set Songbook from Rhino. The second recording was made in '75 for the
Gord's Gold album.
