Hello everyone,

There was this particular song piece I heard while watching a
recent foreign film. The lyrics went something like: "Rain keeps falling
on my head, but that doesn't mean..."
If anyone can help me out by providing the rest of the lyrics,
that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Cheers,
John Chen

>Hello everyone,

A foreign film?! :-) I'm pretty sure you mean "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid"
with Paul Newman and Robert Redford right?

The song would then be "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" by B.J.Thomas.
I tried several searches but came up empty so this is strictly from my vague memory.

Raindrops are falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothing seems to fit
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head
They keep fallin'

So I just did me some talkin' to the sun
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on the job
Those raindrops are fallin' on my head
They keep fallin'

But there's one thing I know
The blue's they send to meet me won't defeat me
It won't be long 'till happiness
Steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free
Nothing's worryin' me

It won't be long 'till happiness
Steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free
Nothing's worryin' me

Hope this helps John!

That would be "Raindrops keep fallin' on my head." I can't tell you the
artist, but it's on the soundtrack to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Excelsior!

I don't know if Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid qualifies as a foreign
film - I guess in Canada an American film IS actually a foreign film...in
any event, could you be thinking of

Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red...etc etc

That's the theme song to that movie - I forget who wrote it - and it's
called Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head.

Kathy

If you're talking about the old piano standard, I may be able to help. I
don't recall the exact order of the verses, but some of the words are:

"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head

and just like the man whose legs are too big for his bed
nothing seems to fit, but
I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining.

So I just
did me some talkin' to the sun

and I said I didn't like the way he got things done,

Well, raindrops keep fallin' on my head,
they keep fallin'

But there's one thing I know

Because I'm free.... nothing's worryin' me."

Raindrops (continued)

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head

But that doesn't mean my eyes
will soon be turning red

Cryin's not for me

Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free

Nothing's worrying me.
