Could be "You're The Voice" by John Farnham.

Baz

We have the chance to turn the pages over
We can write what we wanna write
We've gotta make ends meet before we get much older.

We're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other down the barrel of a gun?

CHORUS
You're the voice try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear, oh.
We're not gonna sit in silence
We're not gonna live with fear, oh

This time we know we all can stand together
With the power to the powerful believing we can make it better.

We're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other down the barrel of a gun?

CHORUS

We're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other down the barrel of a gun?

CHORUS (to fade)

This is a novel concept, but ... putting an artist with a song is a big help
for getting questions answered.

Five songs with that title come to mind.

Scals
- If you don't have anything nice to say, say it about Gwyneth Paltrow

101 Things I Hate:
# 47. "Happy Hour" with those two moronic Zappa outcasts (Ooh ooh, who wants to
play the Doo Doo Game?)

101 Things I Hate About "Friends":
# 47. We can thank this sorry show for "The Pallbearer", "Picture Perfect" and
"Ed"

The Voice
The Moody Blues
(Hayward)

- as recorded on the album "Long Distance Voyager"

Won't you take me back to school?
I need to learn the golden rule.
Won't you lay it on the line?
I need to hear it just one more time.

Oh, won't you tell me again?
Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

Each and every heart it seems,
Is bounded by a world of dreams.
Each and every rising sun,
Is greeted by a lonely one.

Oh, won't you tell me again?
Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

Cause out on the ocean of life my love.
There a so many storms we must rise above.
Can you hear the spirit calling, as it's carried across the waves?
You're already falling it's calling you back to face the music.
And the song that is coming through.
You're already falling the one that it's calling is you.

My a promise take a vow.
And trust your feelings it easy now.
Understand The Voice within.
And feel a change already beginning.

Oh, won't you tell me again?
Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight? Tonight?

Oh, won't you tell me again?
Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

And how many words have I got to say?
And how many times will it be this way?
With your arms around the future and your back up against the past.
You're already falling it's calling you on to face the music.
And the song that is coming through.
You're already falling the one that it's calling is you.

Each and every heart it seems,
Is bounded by a world of dreams.
Each and every rising sun,
Is greeted by, a lonely, lonely one.

Won't you tell me again?
Oh, can you feel it?
Oh, won't you tell me again tonight?

(Repeat)
