!This may possibly be called "The Eyes Of Lucy Jordan"
!although I'm pretty sure my first choice is correct.
!
!I know it was done by Marianne Faithful but I'm not sure if she was
!the original performer.
!
!The chorus goes:
! At the age of 37 (maybe 47)
! She realized she'd never ride
! Through Paris in a sportscar
! With the warm wind in her hair
!
!I check in here pretty frequently,
!but you may choose to e-mail me instead.
!
!Thanks in advance

No wonder it's getting vewwy vewwy quiet, it's impossible to reach
www.enterprise.ca.

Would that be the song that goes:

The morning sun touched lightly on
the eyes of Lucy Jordan
In a white suburban bedroom
in a white suburban town

And she lay there neath the covers
dreaming of a thousand lovers
til the world turned to orange
and the room went spinning round

and so on, and so on?

I still remember the song. I was in Germany doing my service. I think I
can remember all of it.

Hi,

We read your post and while not being sure what you were requesting, we
figured we'd post what we know about the song.

Written by S. Silverstein (Shel ?)

The recording we have is by the Canadian/Irish folk group-- Barra
MacNeils.

If you have any questions or comments please write back. We'd be happy
to make a recording for you.
