Does anyone remember this song...more specifically, does anyone remember the
names of the Butt sisters mentioned in the song? Song came out in 1975 on
Atlantic records and was performed by the Jimmy Castor Bunch.

Thanks a bunch!

I've been looking for this lyric to fill a hole in a 70's page I have:
http://www.geocities.com/Broadway/Alley/5201/NiceDecade/NiceDecade.html

The liner notes I have list the sisters as:
Bertha Butt
Betty Butt
Bella Butt
Bashiba Butt (although this one sounds more like "Bathshiba" on the tune
to me)

Was there a sequel to "Troglodyte"? I remember Bertha being mentioned
in that song, but don't recall hearing any sisters' names.

"Her name was Bertha. Bertha Butt.
She was one of the Butt sisters."

"Bertha Butt Boogie" was a single in Feb. 75. Pop #16 and R&B # 22.
The '75 album was called "Butt Of Course". I'm getting this from the
liner notes of the Rhino set "Nice Decade".
