Yea, there is some song from the 70s or 80s that has some peom at the end.
The peom is narrated by some other guy that I don't think is in the band.
Anyone know that song that is?

I don't know if this is what you are looking for or not, but the first thing
that popped into my mind was "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues????

"Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Watch lights fade from every room..."
???

Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'all's neighborhood...

If those two lines are from it, that is THRILLER by Michael Jackson,
with Vincent Price doing the voiceover. It came out in 1984.

There are two songs with poems at the end recited by Vincent Price
Knights in White Satin by the Moody Blues
“Cold hearted ord that rules the night
Removes the color from our sight,
Red is gray and yellow white,
But we decide which is right,
And which is an illusion”

And Thriller, by Michael Jackson
Who’s lyrics I do not know.
