Finding writers, song names, etc

I did not check for the extent that they
now help in the various kinds of lyric,
writer, and singer searches, but the two/
three major 'performance rights' organiz-
ations all now have their own pages. It
wasn't that long ago that they didn't.

Country? First try should be http://www.bmi.com.
Broadway? First try should be http://www.sesac.com.

Everything else? Or second try? http://www.ascap.com.

Try BMI after ASCAP.
