Hi there...

I'm looking for the lyrics of a song that I believe was a hit during
the mid 1980s. I think it was sung by James Ingrahm and a woman as a
duet. It was called "The Music Never Ends".

I am looking for the lyrics and also any information about the song,
when it was popular, who sang it or wrote it, etc.

Thanks...

~~~ judy ~~~
What a great song! I marked who sang which part for you and on a more
personal note, this song is SO right.
Here you go. Enjoy!
How Do You Keep The Music Playing
by James Ingram & Patti LaBelle
(Him)How do you keep the music playing
How can you make it last
How do you keep the song from fading
Too fast
(Her)How do you lose yourself to someone
And never lose your way
How do you not run out of something
To say
(Him)And since we know we're always changing
How can it be the same
(Her)And tell me how year after year
You're sure your heart will fall apart
Each time you hear
His name
(Him)I know the way I feel for you is now or never
(Her)The more I love the more that I'm afarid
That in your eyes I may not see forever
(Both)Forever
(Him)If we can be the best of lovers
Yet be the best of friends
(Both)If we can try with every day to make it better
As it grows
(Him)With any luck then I suppose
(Both)The music never ends
(Her)I know
The way I feel for you is now or never
The more I love the more that I'm afraid
That in your eyes I may not see forever
Forever
(Both)If we can be the best of lovers
Yet be the best of friends
If we can try with every day to make it better
As it grows
(Him)With any luck then I suppose
The music never ends
