Does anyone remember this song....I do not remember the artist....

Crossing the highway late last night
He should've looked left and he should've looked right
He didn't see the station wagon car
The skunk got squashed and there you are
You got yer- Dead Skunk in the middle of the road
Dead Skunk in the middle of the road
Dead Skunk in the middle of the road
Stinkin' to high heaven

then another part...
You got yer dead cat you got your dead dog
On a moonlit night you got yer dead toad frog
You got yer dead rabbit and yer dead raccoon
The blood and guts gonna make you swoon

Can anyone complete/correct this for me?

~nightshade~ it's an herb not a window treatment

I recall verse two as:

you got your dead dog, your dead racoon,
the blood and the guts they're going to make you swoon,
You don't have to hear 'em and you don't have to see,
'cause you can smell it in your olfactory.

"Dead Skunk" (1971) by Loudon Wainwright III

The missing (second) verse is:

Take a whiff on me, that ain't no rose
Rollup your window and hold your nose
You don't have to look and you don't have to see
Cuase you can feel it in your olfactory
