In 1968, Paul Mauriat had an instrumental hit called "Love Is Blue".
Someone put words to the song (can't remember who). That line is from
the sung version. I can't remember all of it, but it begins:
Blue, Blue - my world is blue.
Blue is my world now I'm without you.
Verses begin with with the colors green and black, too.

It is "L'mour Est Bleu" or "Love is Blue", perhaps the last hit to cross over
from French to English, sometime around the mid to late 60's to early 70's.
