Anyone know the lyrics for "Days like these" from the movie The Italian Job

I liked this movie and attempted transcribing the lyrics from the
soundtrack - had to leave some gaps. Anyone else help?
Don't know Italian unfortunately, so put down what the two identical Italian
lines sound like.

As Rossano Brazzi approaches the tunnel in the Lamborghini, he puts on his
glasses. At that moment, Matt Monro sings (I think) "Wipe your eyes....",
but I can't get the rest of that line either!!

On Days Like These
Sung by Matt Monro
(The Italian Job)

(It.) Queste..chia...vi...quando...vi...a...di...el... bel...solay
La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
On days like these when skies are blue and fields are green
I look around and think about what might have been
And then I hear sweet music float around my head
As I recall the many things we left unsaid
It's on days like these that I remember
Singing songs and drinking wine
Wipe your eyes, they ( )
On days like these I wondered what became of you
Maybe today, you're singing songs with someone new
On days like these, on days like these
(It.) Queste...chia...vi...quando...vi...a...di...el...bel...solay
La-la-la-la
On days like these, on days like these

So glad that's sorted. "Wipe your eyes" did sound a bit nonsensical.

All that's needed now is the correct Italian spelling (and translation).

I, too, immediately fell in love with the song when I saw the movie. But the
movie version omitted two lines from the song. Noted below.

On Days Like These
Matt Monroe - 1969

Questi giorni, quando viene, il belle sole

La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la
On days like these when skies are blue and fields are green
I look around and think about what might have been
And then I hear sweet music float around my head
As I recall the many things we left unsaid
It's on days like these that I remember

Singing songs and drinking wine,
While your eyes played games with mine

On days like these I wondered what became of you
Maybe today, you're singing songs with someone new

**I'd like to think you're walking by those willow trees,
**Remembering the love we knew on days like these.

It's on days like these that I remember

Singing songs and drinking wine,
While your eyes played games with mine.

On days like these I wondered what became of you

Maybe today, you're singing songs with someone new.
Questi giorni, quando viene, il belle sole
La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la

The literal translation of 'Questi giorni, quando viene, il belle sole'
is 'These days, when comes, the
beautiful sun'
