Have you seen my wife Mr. Jones...do you know what it's like on the out
side...I know that talking to you may cause a landslide..Mr. Jones

Who sang this song? What tape was it? HELP!!!!!

The group was the BeeGees, maybe around 1966 or '67. I think its title was
"The 1910 New York Mining Disaster".

In the event of something happening to me
There is something I would like you all to see
It's just a photograph of someone that I knew

Have you seen my wife Mr Jones
Do you know what it's like on the outside
Don't go talking to loud you'll cause a landslide
Mr Jones

I keep straining my ears to hear a sound
Is it someone who's digging underground?
Or have they given up and all gone home to bed
Thinking those that once existed must be dead?

REFRAIN ---

This was by the Bee Gees. I believe it was called "The 1910 Mining

The Bee Gees sang it. The title of the song is "New York Mining Disaster
1941"(?-not sure of the year). I think it was on the "Horizontal" album.
